DancEast Collective Youth

Many DancEast Collective students ages 9-18 are eligible to participate in the DancEast Collective Youth (DCY) Program. The program is a fun way to experience different genres of dance and take class with a variety of guest artists from Nashville and beyond. Through DCY, dancers have opportunities to participate in additional performances and be cast in special pieces for the spring showcase. The program is free to any DancEast Collective dancer within the 9-18 age range who also fulfills the following requirements, based on level. (Dancers are always strongly encouraged to take all classes available to them at their level.)

DancEast Collective Youth (DCY) meets on select Saturdays from 1:00-2:15 PM.

If your dancer would like to participate in DCY but is unable to meet the class requirements listed below, please reach out to DancEast Collective Education Director Lauren Melancon at lauren.melancon@danceast.org.

If your dancer would like to take the required classes and participate in DCY, but the ability to pay tuition is a concern, you may apply for tuition reduction using this application. Note that tuition reduction is only available to students planning to fully participate in DCY. Application deadline for the 2023-24 dance session is August 1, 2023.
